Artificial Intelligence in Paediatric Emergencies: A Narrative Review

Background: The functionality of Artificial intelligence (AI) in paediatric practices has been gaining more attention for last five years. Since then, researchers have started observing that the techniques are helpful dealing multiple facets childhood diseases including emergency like situations. This article aimed to discuss current status usefulness AI emergencies. Methods: Total 22 research articles reviewed. Articles were searched from electronic database Pubmed, Medline, Google scholar. intelligence, machine learning, emergencies, key words used ease search. Results: Out 22, 15 chosen as relatable situations per se. After reviewing available literature, utility emergencies had discussed under four sub headings: i) Diagnosis; ii) Predictive modelling iii) Assistance Antimicrobial stewardship iv) Management department resources. Conclusion: and different learning proven reliable accompaniment paediatricians. They can provide their support terms early diagnosis example septic shock children, prediction disease severity cases traumatic brain injury, drug doses resource management. Lack on extensive data far reaching population, legal trust issues unfriendly software’s challenges those need be resolved utilizing at its higher potential healthcare.
